LA Zoo certificate recipients

This is to recognize two outstanding accounting professionals for the Zoo Department: Uma Davda (Sr Accountant II) and Claude Gonzales (Accountant II), for working together as a team in making sure that all the animals (including Reggie) are all accounted for; seriously though, in effectively accomplishing all of the accounting tasks for the Zoo Department and effectively leading a group of accounting clerical staff. Accounting work can be complex, but at the Zoo, we still manage to have fun and enjoy what we do. Uma Davda is a Senior Accountant II handling grant accounting for the Zoo’s ongoing multiple, capital projects. Uma does complex analysis, researches, and reconciliations to meet all of our reporting deadlines. Claude Gonzales is an Accountant II supervising all Zoo general accounting functions such as payroll, revenue, receivables, and payables. Claude is dynamic and proactive in improving systems and workflow. Again, this is to specially recognize Uma and Claude for their dependability and dedication to their work at the Zoo.
